tankalot
I'm getting shipped out to California for work and will be my second time this month to California. Anyone have any good tips and tricks for traveling as a new mechatronic technician I could be on the road a lot and to a lot of different places.

tankalot
Palmdale it's north of LA and is dryer then I like. Was out there for two weeks the beginning of September. Edited October 1, 2023 by tankalot
Yva Xorna
I'm thinking. One thing I noticed when I moved to California is that people are very rude drivers and they won't let you over if you need to change lanes. Gas is expensive. Truckers will box you in on the Grapevine. Watch the speed limit as there are some parts that go up to 70. Also, not sure where you are going to end up driving but anything near the border with Mexico always scares me because people just dart across the freeway like they are invincible. 1
tankalot
@Yva Xorna I'm working at a place in Palmdale so traffic isn't so bad and yes 6 bucks for gas is crazy......... But I can honestly say the people supervising/guarding us have been really nice and friendly Edited October 5, 2023 by tankalot
