Friday, October 24, there was a presentation from a program brought to my school. They called it "Rachel's Challenge". They came to us to tell a story of the young girl shot and killed during the Columbine School shooting. She wrote an essay on her ethics and beliefs.

She challenges her reader to reach out to people and show them kindness. She tells us not to judge people but to empathize and sympathize with them. Look for the good in people and see what they really are.
She knew she was going to die young. She drew pictures, as if she could see what would happen. But she faced it full force and accepted it.
