  1. Im big in real life no scratch that...Im hugh.......why not be big on zee intrawebs!!!! and the number one answer on the board of all time sporting event cliches..... go big or go home! Byyyyaaaaaaaahhahhhhhhhhh
  2. lol all better....uploaded wrong version. mah bad.
  3. decided to make a new sig....was really bored for a few hours. you dont like it eat it!!!
  4. I completly sympathize dood. All the time I hear can you move your ambulance so I can get out. I always reply. "Shouldnt have parked at a fire hydrant now if you'll pardon me someone needs help." And I always get screaming and cursing to them watching me walk away laughing.
  5. So in spite of recent events. I decided to visit my parents in Tampa, Florida. I came to visit on my birthday aug 23rd and will be staying till aug 29th when I fly home at 11 a.m. Wish you all well. Just wanted to drop an update. =D
  6. I have resigned at the position of firefighter. There were reasons as to why in which I will not delve into. But I was under lots of stress from all angles. So I had to cut the fat somewhere. Im back doing what I love and thats driving my ambulance. So I have alot of catching up to do.
  7. Happy Birthday Homeslice. My birthday is right around the corner. I too will be 31. So rock on!!!!!! :drink: :drunk: :giggle:
  8. I will def be interested in one of these. Just gotta scratch some cash together. Ill be in touch....with myself. When Im done Ill let you know. =D
  9. As much as I love you all like a family I have to fully commit to this. I might, and thats the key word might, be able to pop on for a few minutes here and there on weekends when breaking from studying. The things I have to do will stress both my physical and mental limits to beyond breaking. Such as learning fire dynamics and how to best attack it. What to do when in the different positions of both types of fire engines as well as the rigorous phsyical training via running and calistenics. And being the summer months wearing all that heavy fire proof gear and fighting simulated fires will be more taxing then I think any of you can imagine. They dont say the FDNY is the best in the world for nothing!!!! So I'll do my absolute best and give 200% everyday to what I believe I will love most in life even if it means sacrificing my family and friends for a few months to accomplish that. from SMO with love!!!!
  10. I'm sorry I havent been around. I have been doing so much crap to prepare for the task of firefighter training. And while perusing the forums from time to time I just havent had the time to sit down and pop in TS or WOW. I feel like such a bad admin...but something as major as this requires all my time. Tomorrow, July 1st I begin the 6 month long training program. I dont know when Ill have free time as its 8 hours day + like 3 hours travel time and the rest for studying/homework. I really do hope to find the time soon to make myself available even if for a few minutes and try to catch up on everything. Things have just been really hectic for me. So good luck all grats on the progression and I really do hope to talk to you guys soon.
  11. So I passed the last leg of my fire dept. tests. Today was my mile and a half run and I beat the required time. I only hope my body can withstand the physical strain it is about to recieve. Not to mention the mental stresses I will be dealing with. I start the fire academy on July 1st. It is a mon - fri gig and will last 23 weeks ending around Xmas time. I do not yet know what session I will be in. There is a 7 - 3 and a 9 - 5 session. Good thing is I will have a few EMS coworkers with me there as well so I will already have some friends from the get go. Talk to you guys soon enough, SMO
  12. HOW BOUT NOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!! A preliminary sorry for the obscenely large photos..... Before..... and after.... i applied a second coat of red its much darker now. but i loves it!!!!!

you would be much better off staying where i use to live in brooklyn. its two train stops and your in downtown manhattan. look for a place in carroll gardens (where i lived) , boerum hill, cobble hill, brooklyn heights, prospect heights, williamsburg, park slope. you can also try queens but its a slightly longer commute from long island city, astoria. i would try for manhattan but parking is ridiculous and rent is very expensive. good luck!!!
  14. avoid the hostels man, avoid the hostiles.
