You know though for everyone of these stories there maybe hundreds of other people that will loose. I think that crypto as a whole has some benefit, but nothing to back it up. I watch these forums and posts that are referring to crypto as shares. It has gotten to a point where people dont see the backend of what these names actually represent. Its the point that this Crypto coin was always a joke. A lot of things that don't have value to me that have value to other people though so what do I know lol. There's this famous painting called "The Blue Boy" . Apparently it is worth 9 million or something like that. Frankly it doesn't do it for me. but I have seen reference to it crop up in many places. If some people want to pay for items with electronic Monopoly money and some other people agree to give them goods for it, then more power to them. But yes I agree with you that it is a bad idea. I could see if it was like the Euro and accepted a lot of places but there are just too many different types that I am not seeing how any one crypto could be worth a lot. There are legitimate companies making real markets and creating new opportunities with crypto assets.
