This weather is garbage. I currently work in Northern California, where it has been raining a lot the last couple of days and now the streets and rivers have been flooding. So, I might be stuck here at home for a bit which isn't that bad but at the same time isn't ideal. Fortunately where I live is on a hill so we're good for a while, in terms of flooding. We're also being beatup by winds: 20-30 mph (40-50 kmh) with gusts of wind 55 to 65 mph (88-103 kmh). The power grid is a joke so when the winds blow, the lines topple, and we all get to sit in the dark. Anybody want to trade me some snow for rain? please? lol

Oh I had a family member who made things on a lathe. It was like the pre-computer version of a 3D printer;he could make anything on it!

I'm still trying to remember what I got. Oh yeah some Rachel Ray non-stick frypans which I'm excited about. I would be even more excited about them if I could be home to use them but so far that hasn't happended.

Yes I read that the prices are going down some places. In my area prices are still ridiculous. Which is too bad because I would love a bigger house with a smaller yard.
