Some of them are not as good as they seem, hard silicon cover is not as easily damaged while in active use, but add not as much grasp. Better than nothing though. And I haven’t herd about the other type of cover. But what about being fleshy? My palm is much more fleshy than any silicon cover can provide while still be useful without a need of replacing that cover every several months.

This hand has no skin on it - lacks ability to fixate target while slightly touching it and in some moments it’s frustrating to see how it tries to roll that dice a bit but it just slips left and right. Robots deserve skin. And might be something fleshy under it. Metal and plastic is too slippery even for a human to operate with. That would help increas dexterity in that kind of operation. But engineers won’t be able to do anything with a hand without removing that cover first, that’s why they might not make it. Same problem with cheep artificial limbs, especially hands, every model I saw had not got any rubberized cover on it, except really few and expensive ones. While most of them have a really good motion detection system and can be operated (after certain training) easily, has relally smooth limb movements and allow all movements a real limb capable of.

Here is a video I made 2 years ago. It’s an Arma 3 op we played on server 100v100. Everything was captured while op was rolling. This one was made after I got a really long brake from Arma gameplay and didn’t end up really well, so I tried to at least use some good music for entourage purposes. I have some other Arma 3 videos, so if you’re interested in that - check them out. (My first Arma videos are simply a raw recording and there are lots of non action moments in it, so be careful)

Sooooo, looks like you have topics made for any kind of situation already, eh? About a year ago someone told me that in order to “find that inner peace” I can try drawing something. I tried, despite that I never had any strong bonds with art or drawing in particular. It was a mess I should say. Something a 12 yo would draw better. Then some of my drawings were not AS bad and I’m not AS afraid to show them. Talking about a ship I’m interested the most I think it’s Venture for now. Really would like to see how salvaging works. And maybe some sort of scanning ship. No a particular one just general concept. Prospector is a mining ship right? I mined in eve, not the most social profession but very relaxing. Not like in SC ? I like more slow and laidback gameplay most of the time. I think I’m going to be either a salvager or a recon on scanning ship. Or even some kind of transportation division. Game just need to get a bit more further in development to see if any of those gameplay ways are viable. I still think CS has a Napoleonic plans, but I really hope they can achieve them.

Hello I’ve recently joined your group and think it’s a good idea to introduce myself to you. I work and live in Russia, really love playing computer games at that point I can say it’s my hobby, even if someone does not consider it like this. Not really skillful one but dedicated indeed. Love reading: T. Pratchett; A. Sapkowski; A. Belyaev and many classic writers foreign and from Russia. Draw a bit when I feel the need to vent, nothing special. And currently saving money to repair a flat I got in disasterous condition. Now I’m playing SC and that’s my first space-sim game. Well, I played EvE, but that’s hardly a sim, so I’m kind of new. Bought a joystick to fly better but that’s harder than it looked, but I’m learning. Looking forward to get to know you and hope we will get along.
