I was scanning through stations on the radio last night and listened to Rush Limbaugh spouting off at the mouth about how yes, not everybody has health insurance, but everyone DOES have access to Healthcare via the ED. I never wanted to pull someone through my radio so badly in my life. Yes, it's true everyone has access to health care, but that is the reason that many others and myself have to pay an arm and a leg to get healthcare even with insurance, because of abuses to that system. My mom is 53 and had two bad knees. No doc will touch her because she is disabled and has no insurance, and as of right now, most companies will only cover her with massive per-month fees and an even bigger deductible. She has to wait two years on disablilty until her insurance kicks in and even then it will only cover a small fraction of what dual-knee surgery will ultimately cost. What a joke.
