Sorry Jasko...it's been a bad week, for most of us I'd presume. And today wasn't any better. Had a knockdown, throw out kind of argument with my boss about HIS attitude...and I get the day off for standing up for myself. Go figure.

FOX News has their polls. Because when you can't convince someone, you can always bury them in numbers and statistics.

"Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" backwards is about a treasure hunter who rescues the Holy Grail from falling down a hole, gives it to a ghostly knight to keep for all eternity, saves a Nazi in a tank from falling off a cliff and travels all over the world just to get to his boring teaching job. As for the Upcoming Healthcare plan, It does not Refuse anyone service, quite the opposite, it is supposed to be organic enough to eventually cover everyone, regardless of health or Income, the only proviso being they are a Citizen or Resident Alien.
Currently We have a system where people are turned away or denied insurance because of factors like , finances or age or pre existing health issues.
Actually, what I was referring to was the fact that people will want to pay when they get sick, and perhaps not while they are well, the same way this gentleman wanted to pay when his house was burning. It's a sad parallel, but one I know will be made by the GOP.

Read about that yesterday as well...seems like the City thought it was running an Insurance Company to me. Simply unbelievable! The part where the Mayor said that they couldn't allow people to "pay on the spot because then people would only pay when their house was on fire"...well heck, then charge them on a per call basis or add a penalty for late payment...but you don't allow so much loss of property because they didn't pay such a small fee prior to the fire!
People are going to compare this to the coming health care changes. I bet any amount of money on that.
