Critel Posted July 16, 2018 Share Posted July 16, 2018 (edited) Hey all! Names Critel (cry-tell). I'm new to the game, entered for the first time today. I love sci-fi games and am really looking forward to what SC will become. I'm generally a casual player, with work and everything else in life taking a bunch of time, but still like to take on all the challenges and look to improve. I'm usually around to play on weekends but do my best to spend a couple hours a day during the week. I'm also fairly quiet at first unless the situation demands it (such as training or team events) so I apologize ahead of time if I'm not talkative in voice comms. I'm also very willing to help with just about anything that helps the group. I hope to spend a lot of time with you guys in game and have fun. Note: currently having hardware problems that make it hard to play, namely RAM. Also sometimes voice chats don't work on my computer. I am working to resolve those issues ASAP. Crafting not as much but if I have the resources I see no reason to not use it. I can't even get the 'verse to load. All I've done so far is try out my Mustang I got from the starter package. And as for memory, my RAM is maxed out. Critel Posted July 22, 2018 Author Share Posted July 22, 2018 So I got my parts upgraded and have very little trouble. Loading into Olisar still takes a while but after that it's pretty smooth with a small amount of lag, not enough to be game breaking. I want to see more of the 'verse but have NO idea where I'm going after I leave the landing pad. Is there map of some sort where I can see my location? Extona Posted July 22, 2018 Share Posted July 22, 2018 Yes there is @Critel, it is in the mobiglass when you press F2, or the (4th?) option when you press F1 and look at the bar at the underside (there you can also get contracts and equip gear among other things). To quantum jump you press and hold B after aiming to the waypoint location and spooling the quantum drive (also B).
