  1. Jan 13th - Feb 24th I will be in the UK

I will be traveling to the UK for 6 weeks in January. I'll be missing from events from the 13th-19th for preplanned events. I'll also be out on the 22nd of January to visit the American embassy in London. When I'm back in action you'll see me around for EU timezone events! Let me know if there is anything you want me to bring you back.

  2. https://www.w3schools.com/cpp/ is a great reference tool. Has its own tutorials. Greatest feature is the 'try now' section for quickly testing a feature or experimental setup.

I would say don't be afraid to use large language models such as ChatGPT as guides but you'll need to make your inquires with a lot of depths, you'll want to ask it many questions about each segment, and you'll need to verify it often.

  3. Here at Sanctuary of Wanderhome we examine how to create success. Carol Dweck's study on growth mindset is one of the first things any trainee will hear me talk about during an intense training session. In this video we have a short from the full episode How to Enhance Performance & Learning by Applying a Growth Mindset | Huberman Lab Podcast. Andrew has had many brilliant minds on his podcasts and get into the neuroscience behind their topics. I think the world in general is a better place when we praise and examine effort over outcome. Those who see success without considering the effort fall prey to the classic icebreg effect(Graphic included).

Curious to hear everyone else's thoughts on this.

  4. Its been a massive journey so far. I started in SoW as a child who was never appreciated yet still gave to others, even while being preyed on. Through the people I met like Astrus and Shaw I was able to surround myself with intelligent individuals which taught me to hone my intelligence and respect myself. My time in Sanctuary has been like taking the Red Pill in the matrix. You're moving along life and you see things out of place but its just 'normal'... Until you see what it means to have true friends and brothers who care about truth, righteousness, and never giving up. We've got plenty of stories of our triumphs and those who sought to destroy us just for our success. When you stand with the Wanderhomies know you're standing for something built on decades of reforging. Like the samurai sword the metal was folded over and over with masters who never stopped learning their craft. Stand proud. Unite with truth and righteousness. Hone your skills that will transfer to all worldly activities. Let Sanctuary of Wanderhome change your life.

    I am eternally grateful

  5. As an alpha we go through many Bugs and some features which on their face just did not work.
Let me show you a common 'feature' of the "hover mode" from a previous patch. The design goal was for our ships to act like helicopters in atmosphere.

The idea that Shakespeare did not write his own plays is a popular conspiracy theory that has been around for many years. However, the vast majority of scholars and experts in the field of literature and history reject this theory as unsupported by any real evidence.

While it is true that Shakespeare did not have a formal education and was not born into an aristocratic family, it is not uncommon for writers to draw on their imagination and research to create stories that are set in foreign lands or deal with themes they have not personally experienced. Moreover, many writers throughout history have written under pen names or used pseudonyms to protect their privacy or avoid social stigma.

Regarding the alleged inconsistency in his writing style, it is important to note that Shakespeare wrote over a period of more than 20 years and was influenced by various literary trends and personal experiences during this time. The argument that his handwriting was illegible or that he misspelled his own name is not persuasive evidence against his authorship, as spelling and handwriting standards were much less strict in his time.

Overall, while it is certainly possible to question some aspects of Shakespeare's life and work, there is simply no credible evidence to support the claim that he did not write his plays. The vast majority of experts in the field accept Shakespeare's authorship as an established fact.

Regarding the Flat Earth conspiracy theory however, this is what happened to the dinosaurs:

yeah sure mate. You're a part of the problem. we all know shake spear was a lizard man who couldn't write.

  7. Its a vast game to explore and learn when you start finding all these little details about the functionality and skill ceiling. Always a joy to dive deep into something like this and we'll all be diving in it together making each other better :D

  8. What in your opinion is the best super to have in real life on a practical level? Here is the catch, we will apply real science to any power and gauge it based on power consumption, ridiculousness, viability, functionality, and of course practicality. For example having super strength does not give you super durability by default and you could destroy your own bones on lifting something too heavy, or talking about how much energy would your body burn for eye lasers?

For me it would have to be some from of traversal power. Think shape shifting or creating portals! But with shape shifting it can science breaking with generating math or just 'shape shifting' away a wound if you have perfect control and recall over every moleculeof your body. While if you can set an area of space to use the quantum physics concept of 'quantum tunneling' we can create static portals anywhere in the world. How many portals and how big? No idea, but you could host your own transport business, create portals around your body for defenses against anything including haphazardness environments. Need to breath? Create a portal in your mouth to the fresh air back home.

What do you think? Whats an awesome practical super power to have in day to day life that doesn't completely break reality as we know it?
