A bit of a humble post, but seeing my recent degrees and reflecting on the past few years I have a few things to say. What is Sanctuary of Wanderhome to me, To me it's kind of the best fricking people I have ever met. Why, you might wonder, when I came in here at first I was kind of a slacker, I went through high school trying to just get by, went into college and tried the same thing, and failed at first. I didn't really go for it to be quite honest, and did not try my best. I did attend space bujutsu at that time, and got the spirit of that, but I did not really understand yet. But then at some point after that year, I understood what was meant with "never give up, never surrender.". I started getting a summer job, to pay for the lost year, and got to retake my year. Then, once summer started, I worked as much as I could that year in college, to get the best grades I could, I was going from not doing any work at all, to trying to accumulate all there is to know about the subject and trying to start early. It took a while to say the least. It was a pretty rough year as well, I had to move twice, my dad had passed away. But I kept going on, and on, until I passed everything. I honestly don't think I would have been going on under other circumstances. People would tell me "just take a break it's fine, there is nothing wrong with failure." But the people here told me, or atleast what I got from them, too keep trying my damn hardest and just going for it, no matter what or how hard it might be. I thank them for that the most. Once I got into my second year, I got the hang of it more, I started classes on time, I got decent grades, but nowhere near "my best" yet. And now, third quarter of the year, I get an A and B's on the classes I had most difficulty with because I just kept trying, and not thinking "this is too hard" but instead thinking "What is it that I am failing on, and how can I fix it.". I learned that everything, EVERYTHING you might walk into, is a problem, and every problem is fixable, if you keep going for it. And now I am going into my final quarter, with a lot of lessons learned, and a huge pathway ahead of me, but with that specific lesson, to NEVER, EVER give up. I can go anywhere I want. Outside of college, and just the mentality, there is also something else I can say, everyone I have met and talk to regularly, I can say are some of the best people I ever met, they are humble, helpful, always try to give the best advice they can, and are highly unique individuals that I enjoy talking and listening to. And even if I only knew them for a year at my worst moment, they supported me the best they could, and got me through that period. I can genuinely call these people my friends, and they are damn good ones at that. Sometimes it can sound preachy, sometimes it can get a bit repetitive, but they mean what they say, especially when they say things do get better, you should always keep trying, and no matter how hard things get, always keep going. And honestly, for me, if I wouldn't have had these people around me, I got no idea where would I be now, would I have kept going, or would I have stagnated early. I can't tell, but I know thanks to them I am a stronger person than before. And if I can give anyone a word, or a lesson, it is to always try your best, even when seeing failure, even when one might not believe they can. Once you try, and keep trying, anyone can get there. I am an example of it.

@BulletHail Oh right, I forgot to mention, it tends to be more (relatively) shorter sessions, like for example just one/two session games like, for example, Sherrif of Nottingham/Settlers of Catan on tabletop simulator. Due to well, accessibility and scheduling limitations. And that's nice. Do you have a favourite writer/poet?

Hey @BulletHail welcome to the org! How are you doing so far and how are you enjoying the game? Im glad to read you like the Vulture, it is one of my favourite ships, due to the concept of just being able to scrap components, and just haul them away. The (solo) salvaging gameplay is really interesting in that regard. Next to that, I like to see someone that plays rpgs, especially tabletop, we have quite few members in here that enjoy that as well and we do sometimes host events related to that with Tabletop Simulator, hit me up with a (private) message and I will ask around if you would be interested. By the way, what is your favourite type of writing, is it more short stories, poetry [which can be more rhyme/thematic or rhytm based], full stories and/or others? That sounds like the best part of it, slighly "oily" but keeping it soft and not greasy, do you have a recipe you would share?

Title says all, For me personally, it is the US flag that I finally got around to hanging up, I bought this during my first trip to the USA. [Picture linked below] What memoriabelia did you all bring from travels [or got as a gift from a friend]? And what made you get those memorabilia and/or is a memory attached to it?

Welcome to the org! What is your favourite thing in the 'verse so far @RegisLyght?

What should be learned in my opinion: How to do your taxes, being able to repair/tend to your own furniture/tools/electronics, being able to handle a gun and know some "basic" doomsday-scenario counteracts. What I know myself: Being able to set up a tent, cooking on wood, retrofitting/jury-rigging tools, being able to do taxes (moderately), knowing basic first-aid and how to desinfect / put pressure on wounds. That I atleast know, but I light my logs with lighter fluid so that needs some extra work.

Now with Steam's proton compatibility software for gaming (link) the switch towards linux seems way more appealing. Next to that, nowadays it is more stable, open, and easier to install compared to windows in my opinion.

Fries with taco, I don't have an image, just imagine belgian fries and taco meat on top, with quite a bit of dutch mayo. Or fries with chicken ragout. Simple and delicious.

That is not Sinterklaas enough, now if they had this as a suit with Amerigo (Or the new stead, Ozosnel, which means "oh very fast") instead of Rudolf, perhaps.

So, title says all, what pen do you all write with? And why do you prefer it. I personally always preferred fountain pens and after losing a gazillion of ballpoints, I went back to fountain pens. These are the ones I currently own, from left to right; Lamy Safari, Pilot Kaküno, Montoverde Rodeo Showing the nib of the Kaküno, a japanese EF nib. Which is smaller then EU/USA EF nibs. So basically extra-extra-extra fine. Comparison of the nibs on the pens (courtesy of the Goulet Company). The price range is, very affordable, as a fountain pen that is decent goes as cheap as 6$ for a Jinhao, or 15$ for a Pilot/Lamy. But the thing that truly makes it cheap, is the ability to refill your own ink from a pot, which in the long run is cheaper than most ballpoint pens, with a way better experience, atleast in my opinion it is a better experience, because ballpoints tend to dry out on me. So, what is your preferred writing instrument?

Huh. That used to be a thing a decade ago and they removed it back then (table/coffee corner-esque ara)... and now they reintroduce it?? Speaking about supermarket/stores, I ordered a coffee machine. Because talking about coffee made me crave fresh af coffee again and nespresso is ridiculous so I bought an epic gamer standard run-of the mill coffee machine. and an epic-gamer hand-mill to grind beans. So you know the coffee is certainly going to be QuaLiTy™

Well yes, it is just like drinking anything else semi-unhealthy that isn't water, except that it also keeps you awake AND you can pick however you like your coffee. And that is very true, too much caffeine is very unhealthy, not only for your teeth/stomach but also anything else in your body that moves (like for example; your heart, etc). I personally tend to take some breaks every few weeks of drinking coffee, and that works great and moderates the amount of caffeine I ingest the times I do drink it.

Do you ever wake up, and drink basically this in the morning. If you do, like me most days of the week, I got a question for you! What is your favourite type of coffee (or tea), and if you are a true coffee freak, are there any specific beans/blends you prefer? I personally just live on cheap double espresso's, and am more of a tea person that is too tired to make tea in the morning. I did have a decent taste of nespresso coffee/coffee beans though but, I am truly in it for the caffeine more than the taste. With tea its just Earl Grey + rehashes or anything with cinnamon or ye olde english blend among others. Either way while everyone is going to be busy typing their response, because who doesn't love coffee (or tea), I will go get another cup! And probably end up looking like this.

Atleast it will be cooled, and otherwise you can limit the RPM so it heats up to below the point where it thermal throttles. Stock coolers tend to be awful though tbh

Personally I tend to just go for air coolers because they are cheap and good and suffice for decent overclocking. AIO coolers look cool and are supposedly quieter, yet their efficiency boost vs price step-up is not that good (unless they got way cheaper past years). Next to that you would need enough space to mount the radiator+fan. And complete watercooling loops are; high maintenance, expensive and if there is a leak ANYWHERE you can destroy your system. And just like AIO, they need enough space to mount the parts. However, I think the stock cooler of the 2700X will suffice, I think that one came with the spire wraith. Otherwise, I would recommend the coolers from Scythe.
