Here we find the Aegis Penguin in its natural habitat. Hiding among it's fellow penguins to avoid being singled out and focused on due to its low hull strength.

Over the time our Minecraft server as started everyone who has joined as enjoyed it with some minor issues. As a result for everyone's love for the server and investment I have made it my goal to make that the best experience possible for everyone! I will spend anywhere from 8-20 hours a week on major bug conflicts or player issues to make sure everything is running smoothly again. it' gets easier and easier as I have had to re-learn every mod, the patches of Minecraft, and techniclauncher and I will always continue to make this server the smoothest experience possible. As always if you have any bug issues or concerns send me a personal message on forums and DONT BREAK THE SERVER RARHRAWRARHR! Engineer's Log: 5th day of the 8th month. Earth's 2017s cycle around the sun anno Domini. This week I put in the effort to update the server to 1.11.2 patch. Along with minor stability of the mods which are more up date for this patch. This effort includes grabbing new versions of every mod we use. This unfortunate means dropping a mod that is not being updated... but a work around was discovered even if it meant a little more time to invest. With the new sets of Forge and Sponge it was time to run the tests and smooth out any conflictions. Updated mods means updated config files so those were first to be compared. Once the new lines were added and checked we run up the Personal Server and look for any hiccups, of which there were many. After smoothing out the server's understanding of what mods should be loaded we can run our old world and survey any immediate issues or missing blocks. An issue occurred with conflicted mods, and they both were needed for the core experience. Removing either would destroy hours of our members works and I would not tolerate that. So it was time to solve the problem. Going through how the mods run and in which order I researched what would cause the internal exception. Isolating the event I could educate myself on the issue and apply a few solutions. Through a bit of trial and error the server not only started up but was running even smoother than before. Reminder to self to have the server ready to go back up the instant its taken down for maintenance. As I was working on some trial and error to make sure the World transfered back with no issue but the file transfer system was acting slow than normal. During this time some players attempted to connected without knowing what was wrong. In the future I'll make a public engineer's log to inform the masses of changes. Technic launcher was than updated along with the server going live and instantly the players started jumping back on. These events have been slow on progress but rewarding to increase my understanding and technical skill in keeping the server smooth with the current resources. Thank you to everyone who's joins the server and adds their own charm to our pixel community. End Log.

Right now on Robert Space Industries you have the ability to back the game by purchasing a Starter Pack beginning at $45 with a basic ship. RSI has in place system to upgrade your ship purchase on their website while only paying the difference between the two ships. Even the basic Mustang can be used to farm REC (Rental Electronic Currency) in-game to rent new ships and weapons. Soon Squadron 42 will be released as a stand-alone single player experience, which is contained in some $60+ bundles or can be purchased on its own for $45. Listed below are a few good ships to take a look at. When looking at ships consider both their offensive potential and their ability to perform jobs to earn money in universe. Beds will allow players to safely log out without leaving their ship & body hanging out in the verse while theyre offline. On occasion RSI will feature special sales on ships that are not normally available as well as limited time offers for ships with lifetime insurance in-game. Buying a cheap LTI ship and upgrading it to something that might explode often can help limit your repair bills in the Verse. At this time players always have the option to melt their purchase for store credit to make more informed purchases later on. Keep an eye out for those specialized ships to come back like the Hurricane, Terrapin, and prospector. The Hornet Series: Small Versatile Fighter Currently $110-$180 The Hornet series comes in a few different variants. The basic F7C Hornet default brings a turret and 3 size3 hardpoints for strong firepower. The Ghost which starts with unique armor that will be used for stealth in the Verse. The Tracker replaces the turret for a Long Look Radar which will employ the use of scans, sensors and a command features. Both ships sacrifice a turret in comparison to The Super Hornet which features the strongest weapon options and a second seat that can be used to secure prisoners or be manned in the future by an npc and players. Overall the Hornet Series are ships that built as the boxers of dog fighters, standing their ground to trade blows with other fighters and in the verse will have important utility options. Vanguard Series: Medium Fighter Currently Unavailable ($225-$280) The Vanguard series is a medium sized fighter that comes in the variants Harbinger, Warden, Sentinel, and Hoplite. Harbinger is built to deal the most damage with a torpedo bay as its main feature. Warden is designed as the vanguard to take the most hits and the only variant to have escape pods. Sentinels will bring e-warefare tools to the fight with large server space and unique equipment for e-warefare. While Hoplite is as created to be a dropship of Sabre: Small Stealth Fighter Currently Unavailable ($170) The Sabre was designed as a space superiority fighter for those situations where you need to leave a lighter footprint. Designed to be a rapid responder, the sabre holds a large missile payload while being designed as a dedicated stealth ship. The internal components and hull of the Sabre will shield it from being detected by scans. The Sabre in alpha has been seen as the superior dueling ship but lacks the versatility in the Verse of ships like the Hornet, Avenger, or Vanguard to perform non combat jobs. Gladiator: Small Versatile Bomber Currently Unavailable ($165) The smallest space-to-ground bombers available at the moment is the wonderful Anvil Gladiator. This tough little ship comes defaultly equipped with two pilot seats, a turret on a swivel, four Size3 missile hardpoints that you might see on everyday fighters, and four freaking size5 torpedoes designed to take down bigger ships. The Gladiator is a slow ship with slow maneuvering and will likely be seen paired with Hornets and Vanguard in a squad. The shining feature of the Gladiator is the advertised ability to change out the turret for cargo space, a tractor beam for assisting salvage efforts, stealth, or C&C module. Gladius: Small Interceptor Currently $90 The slender nimble Gladius offers pilots a high mobility ship with a small weapon loadout. This military ship cant take too many hits but carries a hefty amount of missiles and in the a skilled pilots hands will never be hit. The Gladius will best be seen when in a wing with other ships to be the one to chase down, finish off, or distract an important target. 300 Series Currently $55-$70 The 300 Origin Jumpworks series was originally brought out as the luxury car of space. Its first variants were designed for exploration with the 315p starting with a jump drive. Later down the line the 350R racer was introduced but made a formidable fighter as its speed and agility made it difficult to target with a moderate weapon loadout. Overall the 300 series pilots non combat job offers while sporting a bed for long distance operations out in the verse. Avenger: Small Versatile Starter Ship Currently $50-$60 Among the smaller and less expensive ships is the Avenger series. This series comes with the utility of outfitting its compartment for the Stalkers bounty bunting passenger transport, the Warlocks EMP generator, and the Titans cargo container. This is not the fastest or more durable dogfighter, but skilled pilots will have little trouble making money in the Verse with its utility and strong nose gun. Avengers also feature a bed to rest in for the Verse. Non Combat Ships: Because Star Citizen is so expansive many pilots will find themselves acquiring resources, exploring the verse, and performing the multitude of jobs out there. Here are a few ships to take a look at for non combat rolls and multi-crew ships Freelancer Series: Exploration. Cargo. Transport. The medium size freelancers are two person crew ships that has a manned turret and the option of giving up cargo space for more missiles to defend your precious cargo. Freelancers are the pickup trucks of space that are ready for the long haul. Hull-Series: Cargo in all sizes. Without the limitation of roads or bridges haulers in space can get big. The hull series is the most extreme example from the Hull-A as a single person hauler that weighs 14,300kg without cargo to the five man crewed Hull-E weighing over 3,241,052 kg BEFORE cargo. Cutlass Red: Search and Rescue. The first response for those floating in the depths of space. The cutlass has a variant dedicated to searching for stranded or wounded pilots with an advanced radar and comes equipped with a fully operational medical bay. Constellation Series: Exploration. Cargo. Transport. Multi-function. The Constellation holds its own with a lot of firepower for its size but requires more crew to operate. Constellations can be equipped with a large amount of small missiles to pair with its two manned turrets and four gimbaled main weapons. Often tho you'll find the constellation as your money maker for those bigger and longer distance operations. Just be careful you are not spending more money running, restocking, and repairing then you receive from your time in the field.

Yes I realize it should read "poor" German but that didn't have the same flow to it. I notice there are some German players complaining about how their language is butchered on some of the weapons names. I speak even less German than I do Norwegian, but I see what they mean. How does CIG, which employs Germans and has an office in Germany, decide pseudo-German is ok? English is more sandbox I guess, at least American English. We suspend rules and make adjustments all the time. But apparently that doesn't work for German. And also yes for a game that is so big on lore I'm not really sure how Tigerstreik ever passed muster. Anyway I thought it was interesting and I will be curious to see how the CIG responds. My favorite quote from the conversation is this :

Apparently they took down the graphical representation of the Production Schedule? I was looking for it and found this instead: Two interesting items I note on the Production Schedule (updated from the GamesCon) Basic Ship Security-With the gameplay we’re adding in to 3.0.0, we’re conscious that there may be some other players that would love to kill you and take your ship. To help prevent this, we wanted to implement some basic security that will allow you to lock the ship, so only you have the ability to pass freely through its doors. Part of this work includes adding destruction for external ship doors to allow for the other half: basic breaching / boarding. Race Tracks on Planets-To give our planetary environments extra points of interest, and also an excuse to drive ground-based vehicles around at high speed, we thought the best way to do this was to build some rudimentary race tracks on the planets that would have been previously used by the research teams as a way to blow off steam and have fun. I am happy for the doorlocks. That's been a problem for a while now and why I don't usually venture out from Single Player as much as I would like. I've had my ship taken a few times right from the landing pad. I am not that big on the racing but this sounds interesting because it is ground-based instead of the flight-based ones. This should be fun! I like what they are doing with the game. This is really going to be epic.

Sanctuary Of Wanderhome has a Modded Minecraft Server! Alongside SoW's normal rules read these guidelines before you join. -Post your minecraft Username in this thread to be added to whitelist. -If you experience any issues with other players or the server send a private message to Kakon on the forums. -Respect other players. Avoid building too close to another player without their permission and don't be a jerk -Respect the server. Avoid creating any machines or systems that will cause lag on the server. How to Connect! Step 1: Head over to Technic Launcher Download and download the Technic Launcher. This launcher will be in use instead of minecraft.exe when you wish to join the modded server. Step 2: Launch your TechnicLauncher.Exe and Log in with your normal minecraft username and password. Step 3 Under the launcher options (located in top right corner of launcher) nagivate to the java settings tab and allocate some memory for minecraft to use. The recommended minimum amount is 4 GB. Step 4: Navigate to the ModPacks and enter the search bar http://api.technicpack.net/modpack/sanctuary-of-wanderhome Step 5: Hit the install button. You are now ready to use the modpack! Step 6: Click Multiplayer and join the Sanctuary of Wanderhome Server! Getting Started When a user first logs in they will be greeted by Sanctuary Base. The original home base built up by Shawkorrr and Astrus years ago. This HomeBase will serve as a host for server events and server shops. While everyone (Including everyone from the old server) are starting from scratch, we keep these projects around as a demonstration of our collaborative effort we can achieve! After checking out the sites its time to head out and start a new. Players can request to join already established people or create their own new homes. Avoid building too close to Sanctuary Base as it will be host to events, stay around 100 blocks away from its borders. The first chest you place down on the server will try to claim that land as yours! Using the AntiGriefing Mod. You are now ready to explore the books that put your on the progression path for one of our core mods. Speaking of mods here is a quick setup for how to get started with our major mods: Just Enough Items: Your inventory has been modified to show all the items available in game. Mousing over any item and pressing Default R will show you the recipe to build and and pressing Default U will show you what it can build into. This will help in figuring out how to achieve any item in any mod pack. The inventory overlay can be toggled on/off with Default Ctrl O. AntiGriefing: The first chest you place down will claim the land as your own. Claimed land can not be altered, interfered with, or stolen from in any way by other players. Players have access to a list of commands to modify how they use their land. Most commonly used among them are the Trust Commands that let other players have permission to use your plot. To check the borders of a claim simply right click the block while holding a stick. When you want to expand your claim right click the corners of it with a golden shovel. Players will start with a limited amount of claim blocks and gain more for actively playing on the server and attending SoW Events. Galacticraft: This mod adds a lot of ores to the pack that you'll be using to try and get to space! Remember to use your Just enough items recipe finder if you want to know how to make any item in the game. Once you escape our planet your can setup space bases, find new treasure, and discover MOON DUNGEONS!. Botania: With a focus on the nature aspect, Botania uses the flora of the land to create systems to produce energy then convert that energy into tools and features. Get started by making your Lexica Botania and following its progression path. Tinker's Construct: Follow your book "Materials and You" to find out to get more out of mining. By putting in more effort you can get more rewards. Tinker's Construct asks the player to setup large furnaces, smelteries and even tanks to contain molten metals that they can poor into mold to hand craft costumed tools and weapons. Miners will find these processes will give them larger yields for their hard work. Immersive Engineering: This mod adds new Redstone Flux-based machinery with a retro-futristic feeling to the game, and many of the machines are multi-blocked. Themed around engineering and generating power start his modpack by crafting an "Engineer's Manual". Becoming an engineer on this scale will take a lot of room and have you setting up power lines. Astral Sorcery: With patience, knowledge, and your "Journal" Astral Sorcery is a magic mod focused around harnessing the powers of starlight and the constellations. Explore and discover the world and the sky above you; focus starlight to your will, strengthening yourself or enhancing the world around you. Biblocraft & Pam's HarvestCraft: These two minor mods a lot of recipes to spruce up the players life. Biblocraft adds new ways to display and store items while Pam's harvestcraft adds many new foods to acquire that can be cooked into wonderful and effective dishes.

Hmm we might really have smuggling in 3.0? I'm watching this weeks ATV and I am hearing Brian Chambers talk about Levski. He says they are putting the final touches on the customs checkpoint and making it "...ultimately hard for players to smuggle in unwanted goods". Hard but not impossible. The 3.0 Production Schedule has listed smuggling as one of the possible outcomes from mission givers. But the Levski development makes it sound more like it is actually really going to happen. Super excited about this!! I've played other games that promised smuggling but never really delivered an experience that met my expectations. Why so excited about smuggling? I am an RPing PVEr at heart who really loves putting one over on the AI.

As a former, very avid rock climber, I can attest that these work very well in strengthening your forearms! I myself have a set of the highest tension black ones but that helps for my job as a welder, for video games the red and blue tension will do just fine. But if it gets easy feel free to move up in tension, it will only help, though you may start breaking joysticks :)

I know there have been a couple of different lists of the "loaner ships" that are available instead of the ships we purchased. This is a really good list from RSI and it shows how for some situations there is a secondary loaner. They updated this April 17th, making it current. I was not aware of the Secondary Loaner but that does explain why, not including the monthly loaners for subscribing, sometimes the ships I have available are different

The Merchantman recently went up in price from $250 to $350 and with such has also been said to be larger than originally planned. As you can see in this picture it is almost capital ship size! (see the people at the bottom) I sure am glad I bought it when it was $250 as so far it's the best price to mass ship price!
